My Story

Childhood – different and misunderstood

I was an only child of my aging parents, born in Hungary. I was always wondering since my childhood, what is beyond mundane things, where did I come from and where I am heading. I was interested in astrology, eastern philosophies. buddhism, hinduism, ayurveda, alternate and holistic healing methods even as a teen. I also had some strange spiritual experiences and dreams those days. At the same time I love sports, being in the nature and doing nothing, just watching the shadows on the wall or just listening the whisper of the leaves. I was always wondering why people tend to chose that is safe and comfortable instead of looking for challenges and new experiences. When I was sick I was looking for explanations of it and this way I found Ayurveda. I was interested in science and religions but they did not give me all the answers to my questions.

I was a good student, but my behaviour was terrible in school – due to the mantra of my parents and teachers: you are a bad boy (although I just simply did not follow the rules that seemed pointless to me). It was a really hard time for me, I felt guilty and evil. That was the time when I started labeling myself as a rebel. It took me many decades to be able to fully love and accept myself by using pranic healing, meditation and yoga practices.

At that time, in the mid nineties, coaching and other helping methods (like the modell of Ikigai) was unknown in Hungary. So I started my journey in search of a career that aligns with some of my core values: freedom, financial stability and independence. I founded my IT business back in the early 2000s and it served me well until other core values started coming to the surface.

Purpose, meaning and contribution

Csaba Bali

In my mid thirties although my life was happy and satisfying I felt the urge more and more to discover and experience what is beyond the ordinary life. By that time I already experienced a lot, but the meaning was missing from my life. I was looking for growth, oppurtinities to expand, to better understand life.
As I was always excited about this topic I started reading self improvement books and finally turned to buddhism and started practicing yoga and meditation. Yoga and meditation helped me to calm down, to quiet my mind, while buddhist philosophies and stories of great practitioners unveiled the endless possibilities of consciousness. I also read many scientific articles in neuroscience, astrophysics, psychology and quantumphysics and they present similar results about space and consciousness. I discovered my version of the meaning of ‘free will’: we can do what we want with our life it is up to us. So it is best to live a meaningful and fulfilled life. It is our job to find what that means to us. For me, true happiness comes from working on the happiness of others.
I started looking for what purpose, meaning and contribution means to me. I started thinking about the legacy I leave behind after I die.

That was a turning point – lasting for many years. And it was hard to find the purpose, meaning and contribution and merge it with my life. With the concept of Ikigai (Ikigai is a concept originating from Japan, it means the fruit of life) I tried to figure out what I love, what I am best at and for what people are willing to pay.

Coaching – helping dreams coming true

The shift occured when I made a decision, a vow: in the rest of my life I want to help others to become happier, to live a fulfileld and more conscious life. That was the moment when opportunities opened up: I applied for Certified Life Coach program at MindValley and soon I found myself as a coach helping others to find their purpose in life and to start their spiritual journey. Even on my first practicing coaching sessions I felt energized, vigorous and balanced and these feelings showed my the way: I am on my way. Because we can always use our feelings as a compass to guide us towards a more satisfying and happier life.

Existence is endless and so are the possiblities for us. Consciously or unconsciously we are creating our lives and influencing others. We all have a wish-fullfilling gem in our heart (like many Bodhisattvas have and also science found that any thought we have has an impact on our phisiological state) and I think the best we can do is to use our mind consciously to help every being to become happier, to suffer less and to continuosly learn, grow and expand our consciousness and abilities. Helping and accepting every being also means accepting and loving ourselves to be able to become the change that we want to see in the world, by showing good example.

Life Coaches can help to connect to ourselves, to find our resources, to discover our feelings, to change limiting beliefs and habits. During the coaching process one can change limiting identities, become the best version of themselves and finally one can discover the true self – which is the lack of attachment to any identities.

At the end of our current journey that is called life to be able to leave with a smile on our face and warmth and satisfaction in our heart we need to have a fulfilled and meaningful life. I would like to help you to find the purpose and meaning of your life, to live a healthy and happy life, to become a person whom your childhood self would be proud of.
